In the year 1999 onwards, there were occasional Syro-Malabar Masses at St. Antony’s School, SDA, Hauz Khas due to the non-availability of Syro-Malabar Priest. The attendance during the Holy Masses was very few. By the year 1999-- 2002, a separate regular Holy Mass in Syro-Malabar rite was conducted on Sundays and obligatory days. During these years, Fr. Benny Parekkatil, Fr. Baiju Vadakumchery, Fr. Benny Maranparambil and Fr. Martin Mampally looked after the spiritual needs of the faithful.
I understood that every flower created by Him is beautiful, that the brilliance of the rose and the whiteness of the lily do not lessen the perfume of the violet or the sweet simplicity of the daisy. I understood that if all the lowly flowers wished to be roses, nature would no longer be enamelled with lovely hues. And so it is in the world of souls, Our lord's living garden.
